Our home is in the quiet Round Rock West/Shadowbrook neighborhood – near four major highways of Round Rock: HWY 35, Loop 1/Mopac Expressway, Toll 45/130. A short twenty-minute drive to downtown Austin.

This home was recently renovated to showcase its old charm and boho eclectic personalities. Looking toward the front of the home, you will see a traditional two-story home with Texas limestone, beautiful dark olive siding, white windows, and black shutters. We have a four-pained rain glass and wood door. Three huge oak trees, native Texas plants, and wildflowers (late spring/summer) surround the front and backyard. We have a wooden arbored 10-foot privacy fence/side gate.

If you walk through the backyard side gate, you wind down the side of the house and see a flagstone sidewalk path lined with plants. A free-standing storage building has one exposed side with a replica – similar to the iconic Austin-based “I Love You This Much” sign. Great social media photo app!!!

Keep walking and head towards the back. You will notice the large back deck and pool/hot tub. The back porch has two large suspended swing chairs and a sectional that seats 6. Altogether, the backyard can seat 20-25.

When you head inside from the back porch, you immediately feel welcomed. There are eclectic-boho-farmhouse touches in the majority of the house.

The living and kitchen areas are open, quaint, and fully equipped. We have a large, wooden farmhouse table that can seat 8. A portable toddler chair, numerous appliances, granite, and dark cabinets.

The primary bedroom is on the main level sliding barn door that leads to the master bath. Double vanity with large mirrors and beautiful lighting. A large, multi-head walk-in shower with marble flooring, floor-to-ceiling glass walls, and a door. A French door opens from the master bedroom to the hot tub/pool.

Also downstairs is a half-bath and office. The office space has an open-peaceful feel with a large bookshelf, a desk, and a window that lets natural light in.

Upstairs has a large, open game room/playroom for the kids- with a 60 Smart TV, games, toys, and a kids’ craft table. Behind a private door is a separate hallway that houses all three bedrooms and a common, cute, farmhouse-style bathroom. The space has shiplap walls, a floor-to-ceiling glass walk-in shower, and a built-in Bluetooth speaker.

The front and back bedrooms (2 and 4) have a king-size bed and crib (we can remove these if you’re staying longer than a week or upon request). The middle bedroom (bedroom 3) has a queen-sized bed with a smart tv/remote. We also have pack-n-plays available upon request.

EXTRA NOTES:
*When BOOKING WEEKENDS, YOU MUST BOOK FRI/SAT together. Sat is not a check-in option. Holidays or Month long stays host might be open to a Sat check-in.

*HOT TUB is available year-round and included in the price – no hidden fees.

*Due to our massive live oak tree spanning the pool. During the spring months (March/April) it consistently drops leaves and pollen spores during those months. We may have to cover pool – inquire about options. We’re flexible.

*HEATING THE POOL IS AN ADDITIONAL cost per day. In the winter and spring months, we must know 3 days in advance before hand to ensure the pool is heated upon your arrival. Our pool is shaded, and the temperature can get down to the 50s during the fall/winter months, including March.

*Please note this is NOT a party house. Nuisance noise & neighborhood disturbance (aka overtly loud music) will not be tolerated* We have lived here since 2000 and consider our neighbors on this street family. They are awesome and very willing to chat if you see them. Along with the outdoor security cameras, they keep a heavy eye on our house for us.

*Our washer/dryer/and gym space is in the renovated garage. The gym has a remote-operated, mini-split ac/heat unit.

*Strollers, pack-n-plays, and infant bouncers are located in the garage.

*Extra quilts, blankets, sheets, and towels are in the hallway closet upstairs.
