You can arrive any time you like 4 PM or later. There is a lock on the door with a code. When you receive the itinerary from airbnb it will include the code for the door.

I always recommend a car but there are certainly other options.
There is public transportation but it is about a mile away.

There is a book on the coffee table with everything you will need to know about the space. You will also find an entire book of restaurant suggestions and other info. I highly recommend a car while in Austin. Public transportation is about one mile from the space.
